This name appears on the memorial in St Mary's Catholic Church, Brewood. The Commonwealth War Graves Commission lists 1841 John Brown / J Brown casualties. Without further information it has proved impossible to identify the man intended by the compilers of the memorial.
He may be the John, son of John & Henrietta (Hicken) Brown, who was born 1 August 1896 and baptised at Brewood Catholic Church on 18 April 1905.
