Cyril Jones

Cyril Baden Jones was born at Munslow in 1900. He was the son of John Jones, farmer and rabbit catcher, and his wife Ellen. The family lived at Rowe Farm.

Cyril was living in Bewdley when he enlisted at Worcester. He was still in training, serving with the 5th Reserve Battalion Royal Warwickshire Regiment, when he died of sickness at Newcastle on Tyne. He is buried in Stanton Long Churchyard.

Private Cyril Jones, 59646 Royal Worcester Regiment, did not qualify for any medals.
